![]() Nothing seems to work.Īll system approvals have been completed in Privacy and Security. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, re-dowloaded Fusion 12, plus both VMs I am trying to load. It is trying to load 'vmmon' and errors, then throws "Transport (VMDB) error -14: Pipe connection has been broken" error afterwards. I hope VMWare takes a look at this and tries to make it a little smoother experience, next time.įusion 12 is still trying to load a kernel extension it seems. I guess the moral of this story is, you have to wait, restart the Mac and VMWare a bunch, and in some magic timing, you will be able to get the correct approval to show up and get this working. I was able those nagging popups came once again and this time, when I clicked on Open, then actually opened and allowed the VM to run. ![]() After I restarted for the second time, I saw a new approval from VMware, Inc. ![]() Then I re-ran Fusion 12 trying to get something to change when I saw these two nagging pops for "vmnet-cli" something else. Update: I just rebooted another time (not sure how many this was, but at least twice over an hour). I restarted the VMWare Fusion app, but that didn't help. I removed the VM from my VM Library and added it back, but that didn't help. I'm not getting any prompts in "Settings & Privacy" and "VMWare Fusion.app" has Full Disk Access. I verified that /Applications/VMware Fusion.app/Contents/Library/vmware-vmx, /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/amework/Versions/A/Resources/activateSettings, and /usr/sbin/diskutil do exist.
